The monetary entity lasted only a few decades due to its lack of transparency and mismanagement.Few coins issued by the Melon Bay Treasury were found, being composed of metals such as gold, silver and copper.

Today, these scarce and precious coins are used primarily as rewards to encourage participation in the investigation of the events surrounding the mysterious Battle of Melon Bay.
